The materials from the NTSB included a July 2022 data download report, emails between the NTSB and the CAAC (heavily redacted), and some FDR data. The FDR lost power and stopped recording after the engine fuel was cut off, so it did not capture the data from the final moments. The CVR, however, had a backup battery and recorded the complete audio. The report confirms the CVR audio was downloaded in “excellent” quality and handed over to the CAAC. The NTSB retained “no CVR audio files or other raw or intermediate download files that could be used to generate audio files”. The owner deleted the original github repo.
